2.Anran+5.0Team pressure≈ +5%
3.Sojourn+4.9Mixed threat≈ +5%

Counter ratings are measured from duel and teamfight outcomes in tracked Overwatch matches, not from match win rate. The rating is an index, not a percentage: 0 is a neutral matchup and a higher number means a harder counter. Source: Counterwatch community stats, all ranks, updated Oct 6, 2026.

Ratings come from the kill feeds of community matches: who wins the duels, and whose side dies more in teamfights. Match win rate is excluded on purpose, because it punishes counter picks made from behind. Counters that work by blocking damage rather than dealing it, like D.Va's Defense Matrix, are understated by kill data. How counter ratings are calculated →

Beating Baptiste FAQ

What is the best counter to Baptiste in Overwatch?

Illari is the strongest pick against Baptiste right now, with a counter rating of +7.0 (an estimated +6% swing to an even fight), followed by Anran and Sojourn. The full list below ranks every eligible hero against Baptiste.

How are Baptiste's Overwatch counters calculated?

From the kill feeds of community matches: who wins the one-on-one kill trades against Baptiste, and whose side dies more while both heroes are on the field. Each hero's general strength is stripped out so the rating reflects the matchup itself, and match win rate is excluded entirely because counter-swappers are usually already losing when they swap. Matchups need 50 or more contributing players to appear.

Who is Baptiste good against in Overwatch?

Baptiste punishes Roadhog, Pharah, and Wrecking Ball hardest right now. If the enemy runs one of them, staying on Baptiste is usually right.

Should I swap off my main to counter Baptiste in Overwatch?

Only when the matchup is genuinely lopsided. Playing your best hero into a slightly bad matchup usually beats swapping to an unfamiliar counter: the data shows counter-swappers lose more often partly because they are off their main. Use the ratings here to judge how lopsided the matchup really is before giving up your comfort pick.
