How does the Overwatch counter picker work?
The Team Builder lets you fill both teams slot-by-slot and shows a live win-chance prediction based on counter matchup win rates, synergy win rates, and map-specific performance. Use it to experiment with counter picks against any enemy composition.
Are these Overwatch stats updated?
Yes. Every page refreshes daily around 07:00 UTC from thousands of tracked community matches. Win rates are Bayesian-shrunk to avoid small-sample noise and every filter (rank, mode, game type, role) pulls from the same dataset.
Why is the win rate shown here different from another site?
The displayed win rate is Bayesian-shrunk toward 50%, which pulls low-sample heroes back toward neutral so rare picks with flukey stats don't inflate the tier list. A hero needs a meaningful sample size before ranking high. Most other tier list sites show raw win rate, which is noisier at small sample sizes.
Can I filter these Overwatch stats by rank?
