Counterwatch is approved by Blizzard (Overwatch) and NetEase (Marvel Rivals). It never reveals any information that is not available through the game itself - it is not a cheat, bot, or hack. Hero swap notifications only appear after the information is visible on the in-game scoreboard. No one has ever been banned for using Counterwatch.

How does the counter pick feature work?
During a match, Counterwatch looks at the enemy team and scores your hero pool based on counter matchups, team synergy, and how each hero performs on the current map. The scores update live as heroes get picked on both sides.
Do I need an account to use Counterwatch?
Nope. You can use it as a Guest and still get match tracking, session history, and the in-game overlay. Signing up (free) adds cloud sync, community stats, and player profiles.
Do I need to install the app to see the stats?
No. The full tier list, counter matchups, team builder, and map stats are all free in your browser. The app is what makes them live: automatic pick detection, in-game counter suggestions, hero grades, and session trends.
How is the win rate calculated?
Raw win rates from a small number of matches can swing wildly, so we apply Bayesian shrinkage that pulls low-sample heroes back toward 50%. Heroes need a meaningful sample size before they rank high. The full methodology lives on any Best One Tricks page under "How we chose these heroes".
