Hero swap notifications only appear after the information is visible on the in-game scoreboard. No one has ever been banned for using Counterwatch.

Nope. You can use it as a Guest and still get match tracking, session history, and the in-game overlay. Signing up (free) adds cloud sync, community stats, and player profiles.
