Data & Sync
What does syncing do?
Syncing is a backup. It copies the matches Counterwatch already recorded on this PC up to your account, and pulls them back down on any other PC you sign in on.
That is the whole job. Sync never reaches into Overwatch or Marvel Rivals to collect matches, and it never asks Blizzard or NetEase for your history. If Counterwatch did not watch a match happen, syncing cannot produce it.
Everything is written to your PC first, so your matches are safe before any of this runs. Signing in just means there is a second copy you can get back if the PC dies or you move to a new one.
