Can Counterwatch track matches from before I installed it?
No. Counterwatch builds every match from live game events while the app is running, so it can only record what it was there to see. Matches you played before you installed it, or with Counterwatch closed, do not exist anywhere in Counterwatch and cannot be added later.
Neither game exposes a match history that could be read after the fact, so there is nothing to import from. That holds for a fresh install and for a reinstall on a new PC alike: signing in restores everything your account already backed up, and nothing beyond that.
So leave Counterwatch running while you play. Everything from that point on gets tracked.
