The first-month snapshot of Into the Tiger's Den ended on a hedge, that four weeks is enough to trust the top of each role and not much below it. Season 4 starts on August 11, so the book is closed on Season 3 now, and the surprising part of the closing numbers is how little they moved the early read. Every role kept the hero that led it a month in, and mostly kept the four behind it too. Whatever settling happened, happened one rung down.
What these numbers are. Every figure below is a shrunk win rate from Season 3 community data through the final weeks of the season, 5V5, all ranks, all game types, aggregated across maps. Shrinkage pulls thin samples toward the middle, so a hero near the top on a large sample is a firmer result than one on a small one. This is the end-of-season recap, so where it helps I have noted how each hero moved from that first-month read to the final standings.
Tank: Reinhardt closes it out, Sigma and Hazard trade places
- Reinhardt, 53.49% over ~252,700 matches
- Junker Queen, 53.23% over ~88,500 matches
- Wrecking Ball, 52.18% over ~70,100 matches
- Hazard, 52.05% over ~88,400 matches
- Sigma, 52.00% over ~216,600 matches
Reinhardt led at the four-week mark and led at the close, his own win rate almost unchanged. Junker Queen held second and gained roughly a third of a point, halving her distance to the top. The only shuffle inside the top five is at fourth and fifth, where Hazard climbed a spot and Sigma slipped one, the two separated by five hundredths of a point on very different sample sizes. Wrecking Ball held third the whole way. Domina, the hero sitting just outside the five a month in, finished exactly there again at sixth on 51.96%, so the tank picture that formed early is the tank picture that ended the season.
Damage: nobody in the top five moved

- Symmetra, 54.62% over ~58,900 matches
- Pharah, 52.78% over ~94,900 matches
- Mei, 52.72% over ~145,200 matches
- Venture, 52.41% over ~54,600 matches
This is the most static role on the board. All five heroes finished in the exact order they held four weeks in, and no win rate among them moved more than a fifth of a point. Torbjörn stayed the single strongest number in the game and gave back almost nothing. Symmetra held second, so the passive frontline pressure that carried over from Summit lasted the entire season. Mei closed to within a whisker of Pharah for third but never passed her. The name to watch finished one rung down. Anran landed sixth at 52.11% on roughly 217,900 matches, the largest damage sample anywhere near the top, which makes that placement one of the most confident on the whole board even from outside the five.
Support: the early five held, Lúcio edges up behind them

- Brigitte, 52.85% over ~110,700 matches
- Illari, 52.22% over ~155,600 matches
- Mizuki, 52.05% over ~324,900 matches
- Wuyang, 51.55% over ~170,200 matches
Support finished the way it opened. Zenyatta led at four weeks and led at the close, clear of the field by more than a point. Brigitte held second over Illari, the order those two settled into early after finishing Summit the other way around. Mizuki stayed fourth on the largest support sample here, roughly 324,900 matches, which makes his placement the steadiest number in the role. Wuyang held fifth. The one mover behind them is Lúcio, sixth at 51.29%, now sitting a step ahead of Juno on the next rung down.
What the season leaves behind
Season 3 decided itself early and then held. The reset out of Summit scrambled less than anyone expected, and the second-tier churn that was still moving at the four-week mark mostly settled without reordering the top. Sigma and Hazard swapped a spot, Lúcio climbed a rung, and nearly everything else finished where it started. The through-line is the same thing Summit rewarded, chip damage from the frontline and value that does not lean on your aim, and Torbjörn, Zenyatta and Reinhardt carried it from the season's first week to its last.
