How do I customize my in-game overlay?

Counterwatch includes a drag-and-drop overlay editor that lets you customize exactly what you see during a match.

To open the editor:

  1. Click the Overlay Editor button in the top toolbar
  2. Drag widgets to reposition them on your screen
  3. Resize widgets by dragging their edges
  4. Adjust opacity with the slider on each widget

Available widgets:

  • Hero Change Feed. Notifications when players switch heroes
  • Players Window. Player information and stats on round start
  • Teammates Roster. Who on your team is alive, who is returning from spawn, hero swaps, and your team's ultimate charge
  • Enemies Roster. The same for the enemy team, without ultimate charge. Counterwatch never shows enemy ult charge
  • Map Performance. Your own record on the current map
  • Match Lineup. Compact lineup with hero scores and swap suggestions
  • Win Chance. Predicted win probability from team compositions (Marvel Rivals only)

The editor supports different scenes (hero select, in-character, scoreboard), so your layout can change depending on what's happening in the game. You can also choose from different aspect ratio presets (16:9, 16:10, 21:9).

By default the Match Lineup, Map Performance and Win Chance widgets are on during hero select and the scoreboard rather than mid-fight. You can enable any widget on any scene.
