These are shrunk win rates from the full Season 9 community data, Standard mode, all ranks, all game types, aggregated across maps. The shrink pulls thin samples toward the middle so a hero with a few hundred matches cannot fluke onto a list. The figures published on September 2 were taken with nine days of the season still to play, and the lists below replace them with the closing numbers.
Vanguard
- Peni Parker, 56.25% over ~71,500 matches
- The Hood, 53.58% over ~155,600 matches
- The Thing, 52.41% over ~104,900 matches
- Thor, 51.32% over ~74,200 matches
- Bruce Banner, 51.32% over ~59,900 matches
The same five heroes closed the season as held the list on September 2, with Peni Parker first in both reads. Thor and Bruce Banner finished level at 51.32 percent to two decimals, and Thor takes fourth only on the unrounded figure, so fourth and fifth are better read as a tie than as placements. The Hood logged roughly 155,600 matches, more than double Peni Parker's sample, and still finished more than two and a half points behind her.
Duelist

- Gorr The God Butcher, 54.68% over ~17,800 matches

Gorr The God Butcher is the one genuine change to any of the three lists, and his number is thin. He appears in a single week of Season 9 data, the week beginning September 7, so 54.68 percent rests on roughly 17,800 matches played in the closing days against opponents who had barely faced him. Every other hero in these lists has ten weeks behind them. His placing pushed Blade and Iron Fist down a spot each and moved Hela out of the five, and she finished sixth at 52.66 percent.

Strategist finished exactly as it stood on September 2, the same five heroes in the same order, and not one of them moved by more than three tenths of a point. It stayed the most top heavy role in the game, with close to three points between Rocket Raccoon in third and Jubilee in fourth, and White Fox taking fifth while still under 50 percent. Jubilee closed on roughly 287,600 matches, more than any other hero in the season.
What these numbers do not cover
Win rate is not the same as strength in a coordinated match, and an aggregate across every rank flattens picks that only work in one band. What the data supports is that Season 9 ended with a single clear leader in each role, all three above 56 percent, and that the closing week changed the membership of only one of the three lists.
