You give it your hero pool, your friend gives theirs, and it surfaces the pairings that have actually been winning when picked side by side, drawn from real community matches.

How it picks the pairings

Every suggestion is built on tracked games where both heroes were on the same team, so it reflects what has worked, not what looks good on paper. A pairing needs a real sample to show up at all, at least a couple hundred matches together, which keeps a lucky handful of games from inflating a combo that does not hold. What you get back is a shortlist of partner picks ranked by how well the two of you perform as a unit.

Two ways to read it

Best duos has two modes, because "what should we play" has two answers. Best to win surfaces the pairings with the strongest track record right now, for when you want the highest-percentage pick this session. Best to learn leans toward pairings that broaden what you can do together, the combos worth practising even if they are not your single best result today. One optimises for the next game, the other for the next month.

Stacks, not just pairs

It is not limited to two players. Drop in a three, four, or five stack with each person's pool and it works the same way, finding the picks that hold up across the whole group rather than for any one player alone. The more of your team it knows, the more its suggestions account for how everyone fits together.
